ebutant producers Anubrata Dutta and Avik Mukherjee along with director Sridip Ghosh is all set to make an entertaining semi-horror film titled ‘Bhoot Adbhoot’, with a two-fold story in it. The film revolves around two stories that have no connection between them other than the fact that both the stories have the intervention of ghosts in it.

The first story is about a young successor from the family of a landlord, who along with his three friends decides to go to his ancestor’s villa in the village. While, the second story is about three couples who go to a bungalow for a small vacation and attempt to try a planchet there which results in the death of one of the girls.

“Our production and direction team had a brain storming session one day, and we came up with the idea of this film. We are looking forward to provide unabridged entertainment and we are also trying to launch new faces and make a platform for new talents. We are aiming at making six feature films in a year…” said producer Anubrata Dutta, who is all set to make his directorial debut with his own story ‘Charnock in the City’, soon after ‘Bhoot Adbhoot’.

The cast line up of the film includes well known actors like Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Kalyan Chatterjee, Biswajit Chakraborty, Arijit Dutta, Arjun Chakraborty, and Moubani Sarkar among others.

In a brief tete-a-tete with our little birdie, veteran actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty said, “I play an eccentric modern ghost-buster in the story who is well equipped with electro-magnetic frequency meter and tracking devices. I found the script quite interesting and the character was different from what I’ve done before. Most importantly, when Anubrata approached me, I liked talking to the people from this production, and when I found out that sensible producers and directors are looking forward to make a good project, I wanted to be a part of it.”

The first part of the film has been shot at ‘Baruipur Rajbari’, where everyone looked very energetic and lively with young Anubrata Dutta and Avik Mukherjee leading from the front. The shooting for the film is expected to be over by October.

Our Little Birdie wishes the team of ‘Bhoot Adbhoot’ all the best.
