Music Launch for HAWA BODOL
he music release of Parambrata’s second directorial venture “Hawa Bodol” was held amidst much glitterati at a city mall yesterday.
The music of the film is composed by Indradeep Dasgupta and sung by eminent singers like K. Mohan, Arijit Sing, Sahana and Vishal Dadlani.
The star studded evening saw the presence of team “Hawa Bodol” along with Ustad Rashid Khan, singer Kaushiki Deshikan Chakraborty and director Mainak Bhaumik.
The film consists of five songs penned by Anshuman and Proshen. Vishal Dadlani for the first time has sung a song in Bengali for this film, which adds to the USP of it. “Morey Bhabonarey”, the Rabindrasangeet sung by Arijit Singh and Sahana is promising enough to make to the top of the chartbusters in a few days. The other feat tapping numbers sung by Agnee front man K. Mohan brings out the contemporary flavour of Bengali music.
“I am privileged to score the music of ‘Hawa Bodol’. It is a one of its kind of album, which features rock singer like K. Mohan, classical vocalist Arijit Singh and Bollywood’s most sought after composer-singer Vishal Dadlani singing for a Bengali movie”, said Indradeep Dasgupta.
The story of the movie revolves around two long lost school friends played by Parambrata and Rudranil Ghosh and how their life changes after they come across each other. “The movie is all about friendship and the bond shared by two men. It speaks about a relationship that a person always cherish than anything else, so I hope people will enjoy watching it”, said Rudranil Ghosh, one of the main lead characters of the film.
The music is released under the label of Sa Re Ga Ma India and the film is produced by RTC Entertainment which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
