t’s been a hardworking month of efficient work that quickly wrapped up the shooting for ‘Parapar’ to end up in a refreshing party at Royal Calcutta Golf Club at the end of the production venture.

Nationally acclaimed director Sanjoy Nag’s second feature film, after ‘Memories in March’, is about the crucial junctures and communication of life, and how one undertakes the journey of crossing to the other side, touching the other soul and coming back.

The film based on Moti Nandi’s novel ‘Puber Janala’ revolves around four characters and captures the dynamic change in equations through the consequential array of events.

The cast members of the film including the state’s education minister Bratya Basu, Bangladeshi actor Ahmed Rubel, Rituparna Sengupta and Paoli Dam were present alongside the elegant director and the cheerful crew members, to celebrate the moment.

“Every journey is a new journey, and I tried to bring out the emotional connection through the power of visuals represented metaphorically in my film,” said Sanjoy Nag in an exclusive conversation with our little birdie, before he went ahead to match steps with Paoli Dam on Gandi Baat.

“It is a multi-dimensional story with a lot of layers in it. The mixed emotions that comes out through the crisis of relationships has inspired and challenged me at the same time and made it a larger than life character for me,” said Bratya Basu while discussing his character in the film.

Our little birdie wishes team ‘Parapar’ the very best.
